well it that time again...moving and I am freaking out!!! At the moment it sucks because I dont have enough money to move into my own place because the town I live in is too expensive for me. I am looking for roomies but I am weary about people that I dont know and how they are..I get along great with others but I dont know if they would like me. I dont mind living with people but I sometime feel that I am invading there space. Except living with Josh and April they are more like family..But I cant live in Garden City so I have to find my own place or new people to live with. It makes me a bit sad and I dont like change. It scares me and I dont like it..I hope I do find something or the right people/s to live.
arg!! I hate this feeling...

Well i have been neglecting my livejournal again.. There isnt much to report but still i want to write about something since i have time to be on the computer again..anyways, in the the middle of may i got really bummed out that i couldnt head down to Salt Lake City to see my love(s) of my life :The Mars Volta: but they will be in Austin for the City Limits Festival in September so i hope i can go then...i have been working so hard and hardly seem that anything is done..thinking about others is my downfall... I dont want to say too much...also i actually saw you at best buy...i was buying stuff and you were near the exit(white shirt and black tie)... ;D but i dont think you noticed me..which was a good thing or i would been in alot of trouble...( got to keep the cyberlife a secret)...oh well

i am once again hiding my computer use...i guess i'll explain later...

so i got a job and if you get hungry hit my up during the week in the evening...i am working on the on on chinden and discovery... :P

El Paso is known for the star on the mountain.
The first star was built by El Paso Electric in 1940. The star did not last long either. A storm blew out most of the bulbs on the first experimental star. Improvements were made in 1946. Today the star still has those same dimensions. The poles, which vary in height from 12 to 15 feet, start at the mountain top and run down to a point about 300 feet above Scenic Drive. The star sits at an angle of 30 degrees and appears to be "perfect" when viewed from the focal point at the intersection of Texas and Alameda Avenues.(Which this pictues was taken a little more left) There are no clear records that indicate whether or not the star has been lit every year since 1940. There are some who believe that the star was not lit some years during World War II. However, everyone agrees that since the War, the star has been lit every year.

A popular misconception is that the star was not lit in some years in the 1970s, in recognition of the Energy Crisis. Although El Paso Electric did reduce the schedule for the lighting of the star, the star remained on every year during that time.

Another change in the lighting schedule came in 1979 when the star remained lit for 444 days in recognition of the American hostages who were being held in Iran, which began during the Christmas season in 1979 until Jan. 21, 1981, when the hostages were released.

During the Persian Gulf war, the star was kept on for 263 days, from Christmas 1990 to Aug. 21, 1991.
Traditionally, the star was lighted only during the Christmas season until 1993 when El Paso Chamber of Commerce President Jack Maxon spearheaded a movement to keep the star lit throughout the year. The star was lighted at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21 during the El Paso Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet. The star has lighted-up the El Paso skies every evening since then.

On December 2000, the maintenance and upkeep of the star was officially turned over to the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber currently coordinates a sponsorship program for the lighting of the star. For a $35 donation, Star Lighters receive a certificate and a lapel pin commemorating the occasion. To have the star lit in honor or in memory of someone.



Chico's Tacos
I miss Chico's so much. They are the best!

Chico's Tacos is a small restaurant chain located in El Paso, Texas. Founded on July 4, 1953 by boxing promoter Joe Mora, Chico's has entered into local legend for its rolled tacos, a special tomato soup-like sauce, as well as its low prices. Chico's Tacos has since expanded to five El Paso locations, primarily on the town's east side. Since Mr. Mora's 1992 death, the restaurants continue to be run by his surviving children.

Chico's Tacos is held in high regard by many past and current residents of El Paso; many former residents make it a point to visit when in town. Jim Ward of rock band Sparta has been noted as a fan along with all the members of the 1990's metal band Pissing Razors . In 2003 the 78th Texas House of Representatives adopted a resolution (HR 84), introduced by El Paso representative Norma Chavez, honoring the Mora family and celebrating the restaurant's 50th anniversary. According to this resolution, other Chico's Tacos fans include comedian Paul Rodriguez, members of boy band 'N Sync, and boxer Oscar de la Hoya. The truth about Oscar De La Hoya is that a fan handed him a take out order of the tacos before she kissed him during a news conference before his fight in the Sun Bowl.

The most common order of tacos is the single or the double, which include 3 or 6 tacos respectively, which come topped with grated cheese. However, most frequents will advise one to order two singles instead of a double in order to achieve best cheese coverage on all tacos.( I love the double with extra cheese and a large coke.)

Aside from it's tacos, Chico's Tacos is also known for its hotdogs, which unlike traditional American hotdog is made with a hamburger bun, containing two franks sliced in half lengthwise, chili beans, mustard, and pickles. ( Mmm you have to try it)

There have been many reports of a monk and his donkey walking this road, which runs through the Franklin Mountains of El Paso, causing many car accidents. It is said he is protecting a lost goldmine where Spanish missionaries had a large fortune. The University of Texas at El Paso confirms that this goldmine did in fact exist...but it's archaeological department has had no luck in finding it.

I still remember how to do things on the computer.. I am going to see if i can use their camera to take pictures of me. so you can see what i look like.. see what has changed about me. I went job hunting today... SHODDY TIPS HERE'S

the thing that you people must not understand. Rather, I hope that you don't, because if you do, then you really are assholes. The standard hourly wage for servers in Idaho is $3.35. Pourboire is a misnomer for our tips. Tips aren't a luxury for us, it's how we make rent. If you can't afford to tip appropriately, then you can't afford to dine out. Please stop taking up our tables. Seriously. May karma catch up to you in time.





okay here is what i have to say, if you have to pay rent and your bills DONT get a JOB as a SERVER! if you already know that people tip bad please find another job. Tips are not mandatory if they were you wouldnt be complaining about this matter. Leave these jobs for other people that want the experience in the working environment and dont have to worry about the rent. there are alot of other jobs in idaho other then just being a server. I am not saying that i dont tip i do. i give that 5% if i think you deserve it. IF you did your job with a smile and excellent service the i think you deserve that tip. IF you cant then find another job!

Well i finally get to update. last week my husband my daughter and i had the whole house by ourselves, the rest of the family went to el paso to visit for a couple of days..hopefully we get to go down there later in the year. nothing much happened so i cant really write about what we did. I will hopefully get a chance to write again and add more people but for now i think my journal is a bit boring..I got the music channel and just getting ready to go off to bed...so untill later..oh and please if anyone reads this pass my journal on to others. :D thanks!

Well i am home alone except i am here with my baby but she is eating so i am taking the chance to write something...who is anna nicole's baby daddy?five baby daddies one is dead,(howard marshall) one old(zsa zsa hubby) one photographer,and her companion okay thats four but shit someone call maury and have him do the dna test please!! and i guess we will never know but this story is all over the place.. talk about drama! i just wonder what is going to happen to her body? does anyone care about the corpes? no funeral arrangements nothing because everyone is after this child. i guess everyone follows the money and now this child is filty rich...i just hope little dannylynn doesnt get screwed..also i think that howard k stern had something to do with this...seems kinda fishy..oh well did anyone see the grammys? i guess that is all the news that i can write about...
